Pushing Files to FTP

Go to the App Center in your Settings area.

Scroll down below existing connections and select Install More Apps.

Select the FTP icon.

Select your Kapost instance, then click install. An integration pop-up will appear. When connecting to FTP, you need your Username, Password and the URL of the FTP site..

If your FTP server is configured to use a different port from the default, then you can specify it as :
ftp://xyxyx.com:40340 where 40340 is the port number

Once you are connected, you must make this destination a Primary Destination on the corresponding Content Type.

These are the acceptable Content Type Body Types for FTP:

  • Any File Type
  • Video
  • Audio
  • Image
  • Document

Once you are hooked up to a content type and wish to publish content, you can select which folder to send the file to after clicking the "Publish" button.
