What kinds of files can be previewed in the Kapost Studio

If you're creating content in a Document, Video, or Any File body type, you will notice that Kapost has an area where you can preview the content you've uploaded into your post.

We currently use Box Viewer to view previews in Kapost - please let your Success Manager know if you have any questions about this.

These are the extensions Box preview supports out of the box: c, css, doc, docx, js, json, m, md, pl, pdf, ppt, pptx, py, txt, xls, xlsx, xml

On top of that we have a cloud convert extension that will the convert the following formats to a pdf if they fail to preview:

CAD: dwg, dxf

Document:  abw, djvu, docm, docx, html, lwp, odt, page, page.zip, rst, rtf, sdw, tex, txt, wpd, wps, zabw

Ebook: azw, azw3 azw4, cbc, cbr, cbz, chm, epub, fb2, htm, htmlz, lit, lrf, mobi, pdb, pml, prc, rb, snb, tcr, txtz

Image: 3fr, arw, bmp, cr2, crw, dcr, dng, erf, ico, mos, mrw, nef, odd, orf, pef, ppm, psdm, raf, raw, tif, tiff, webp, x3f, xcf, xps

Presentation: key, key.zip, odp, pps, ppsx, ppt, pptm, pptx, sda

Spreadsheet: csv numbers, numbers.zip, ods, sdc, xls, xlsm, xlsx

Vector: ai, cdr, cgm, emf, eps, ps, sk, sk1, svg, svgz, vsd, wmf

If you are trying to upload something to Kapost and it is not one of these file types, it will upload but not preview.
