May - In The Know Product Updates - Gallery Updates, New Search, New Navigation Bar

Hi Kaposters!

We've been busy incorporating all your feedback into Kapost, and over the next few weeks, we'll be releasing some exciting new improvements. From Gallery enhancements, to robust search navigation, to an updated top navigation bar, we think you'll be delighted!

Appearance of Gallery Collection Group Names

After hearing your feedback, the titles of your collection groups will now appear. Admins: Make sure you have great titles ready for this release!

User Interface Updates for Gallery Users

The Gallery is getting a facelift! All the same data will still be available but in a new and improved format. In addition, links to access your content in its publish destinations will now appear.

New Search and Top Navigation Bar

The new, improved search will rock your world. In addition to the currently available search functions, this updated functionality will help you search and locate content in all areas of Kapost including attachments, custom fields, and more! Click here to learn all about the new search functionality or here for our announcement.

The search update is paired with an all new navigation bar, which makes navigation within Kapost even easier. You'll notice these new icons at the top of your Kapost dashboard when you login.

Other Updates to Gallery

When using advanced idea submission, you can now choose a default content type.

You can also view the Gallery in a list format, in addition to the tile format you see today.

For managing the Gallery, you'll be able to see more details in your management screens:

  • Click on a collection folder to view all the collection groups where the collection appears—remember, you can think about collection groups as audiences
  • View which content is sharable and/or downloadable within the manage content area
  • See selected filters with the ability to filter content within that collection.

These releases are set to come out over the next several weeks, so be on the lookout. If you have any additional questions, please contact your Customer Success Manager directly or visit our Help Center

Thanks,

Kim Wagner
